At Momentum 2026 in Orlando, Manhattan Associates announced two platform advances. Manhattan Marketplace creates a shared ecosystem where partners and customers publish and deploy intelligent agents and extensions directly on ActivePlatform — each carrying the same deterministic guardrails built into Manhattan's core software. Solution Design Studio is an AI-powered workspace where business users author natural-language blueprints that are automatically translated into live ActiveWarehouse and ActiveTransportation configurations; internal testing showed the Studio autonomously configuring the majority of ActiveWarehouse from externally-created designs in minutes rather than months.
For operators running Manhattan's WMS in production, both announcements change the implementation and extension model in a meaningful way. The Marketplace model means specializations — seasonal logic, carrier-specific routing, facility-specific slotting rules — can arrive from third parties and partners without waiting for a core product release.
